Surf Trip in Morocco in Taghazout, La pointe des ancres

La tip of the anchors, anchor point is the best wave in the Taghazout region of Morocco. It is Morocco's Jeffreys Bay. A straight line that unrolls on a point (point break). If the conditions allow it, you will see the wave unfold over several hundred puts. Large walls that are not too hollow, which makes it possible to make maneuvers easily and makes it accessible to the intermediate level ? to advance.
Be careful when launching at the anchor point: you have to jump off a rock to reach the peak. What's more, the bottom is a slab of reef, so avoid big wipe-outs inside the wave. As you can see, this is a challenging wave. Not at all suitable for beginner or intermediate surfers. For the others, you're in for a treat!
For the wave to work best, it needs a northwest swell with some period. The wave holds the big swells, I've seen it more than 4M and there is a direct ticket to Taghazout beach almost 1 km further down the coast. The spot is surfed at low tide.
Killer point north of Taghazout

killer point is one of the more consistent wave around Taghazout. It is called like that because surfers saw killer whales off the spot. It's a scenic place that I love, it's really wild, you feel on the other side of the world.
It is a spot for intermediate to advanced surfers. It takes a lot of paddling to get to the peak. At low tidethere is a way to walk along the cliff. Then, it's a right hander with multiple sections which is quite fast. The spot can be surfed at low tide.
Banana point in Tamraght, Morocco

Banana, it is certainly the best surf spot in Taghazout for intermediate surfers. It takes less swell than the spots further north. When it's small, it's perfect for beginners also. Banana loves swells coming from the west. This surf at low tide.
Panorama, accessible on foot from Taghazout
Panorama is just south of Taghazout. It's a spot for beginner and intermediate. Bottom in sand, it's an easy and safe wave. You can access it on foot from the village.
Devil's rock, the best beginner surf spot in Taghazout
Definitively the best surf spot for beginners from the neighborhood. The wave is perfect for beginners, easy and safe. In addition, there are plenty of fish restaurants on the beach. You can make yourself one lobster or a lobster coming out of the water.
