I wrote this guide to surf camps in Morocco to help you make your choice. There you will find my ranking of the 10 best surf camps in the kingdom. I have selected hotels for surfers in several regions of Morocco: taghazout, Dakhla, Imsouane et Sidi Kaouki (Essaouirra) which are, in my opinion, the essential destinations of surfing in morocco. And I also chose surfing trips at all prices. The goal is that everyone can find a surf camp that suits them. I classified the surf camps taking into account the following criteria: Customer reviews, quality of surf lessons, comfort, cleanliness, atmosphere, cuisine, location.

In this area, Travel Surf and its boss Youssef are excellent. I think they are the best, that's why I put them 4th in my ranking.

Munga guest house is one of the most luxurious surf hotels located in Taghazout. It is a unique place in the region. The hotel was built in traditional dwellings in the village of Taghazout and extends from the main road to the ocean. There is a little favela spirit in the architecture of this place. Inside, we find the spirit of a Swiss mountain chalet, it's very cute. As far as services are concerned, it is top of the range. You can also enjoy the hotel's two restaurants which serve high quality cuisine. They also have a surf academy with many packages suitable for all surfers, you can also enjoy yoga classes and other activities such as golf, horse riding and fishing. Pro surf Morocco is another cheap surf camp in Morocco, located next to Taghazout in the village of Tamraght. At Pro surf Morocco, led by Brahim, a former high-level surfer, you will have access to quality surf lessons. This is the ideal place if you are beginner surfers and want to progress quickly. As for the surf camp, it's quite simple, nothing incredible in terms of decoration but the place is cool. The best thing about prosurf morocco is the atmosphere, Brahim and his family are really nice, always smiling and offering extraordinary hospitality. They will give you the real experience of the Moroccan surf camp. I highly recommend !

Ocean Wanderer Lassarga is an ecolodge located in Lassarga, a fishing village in the south of the Dakhla peninsula. This hotel stands out for its commitment to responsible tourism. It's really well decorated and the food is very good. The Bungalows on stilts are literally placed on the beach facing a surf spot!
This surf camp in the south of Morocco is truly unique. It is located on the beach in front of the Lassarga wave, also called Black tip. It's a point break on a sandbank that takes place over several hundred meters when conditions permit. We come to Océan vagabond largely to have access to this incredible surf spot.
I go to Dakhla at least once every year, and I systematically stay at Océan Vagabond. It's really the best!

I arrived in Essaouira without really knowing what to expect. From the first glance, I was captivated by the bohemian atmosphere of the medina and the warm welcome from the Atlanticzin Watersports team. The riad, nestled in the historic alleys, offered me a cocoon of simple and authentic comfort. Every morning, I headed to the beach for my small-group surf lessons: a relaxed atmosphere, precise guidance, and the exhilarating feeling of improving session after session. At the end of the day, we shared mint tea or a homemade tagine while laughing with the other surfers. Here, everything is designed to make you feel good, free, and alive. It's more than a surf camp: it's a true interlude of energy and conviviality.

Spending a week in Tamraght was like hitting "pause" and finally breathing. As soon as I arrived at Crocro Surf Maroc, I felt this good vibe: a mix of conviviality, passion for surfing, and the Moroccan sweetness of life. The days started early, with breakfast on the terrace, facing the first rays of light on the ocean. Then, it was time for the waves! The team guides with heart, always listening, whether you're a beginner or already comfortable. At the end of the day, the sunset yoga sessions on the rooftop really reconnected me, body and mind. And then, between two sessions, we explore the souks, enjoy a tagine, laugh with the other riders... A total immersion.
